Serenity
Along
the
coast
I
can
sit
and
watch
the
tide
roll
in,
I
can
dream
while
the
tide
rolls
out,
Often
we
need
time
in
our
own
element,
As
we
simply
wash
away
the
drudgeries
of
life.

The
crisp
air
fills
my
senses,
Washing
away
the
staleness
that
exists,
The
beauty
can
be
seen
in
the
clouds
up
above,
And
it
is
like
watching
the
angels
at
play
in
the
sky.

The
slow
oceans
breeze
strokes
my
soul,
I
can
feel
the
soothing
touch
of
love’s
serenity,
Stability
and
softness
begins
to
fill
me,
And
I
know
that
life
will
once
again
be
all
it
is.

We
often
have
to
send
our
thoughts
out
across
the
hemisphere,
To
simply
rid
us
of
the
ongoing
stress,
And
there
is
no
better
place
to
release
it,
The
shoreline
of
life
readily
accepts
it.

There
is
a
peace
that
exists
on
my
shoreline,
A
peace
that
has
been
missing
for
some
time,
Yet
when
we
give
it
over
to
our
spirit,
It
defines
itself.

We
cannot
allow
ourselves
to
be
consumed
by
the
past,
Nor
can
we
be
consumed
by
the
lies
it
tells,
If
we
are
to
co-exist
we
often
must,
Let
sleeping
dogs
lie.

For
no
one
is
truly
pleasured
by
the
secrets
that
exist,
Especially
in
a
world,
that
is
so
often,
consumed
by
them.
