Of All the Days

Of all the days I have had with you,

The one I remember most is the day I said I do,

You have given me more than days of pleasure,

You have given me days that I will always treasure.

 The days continue to turn into years,

You know exactly how to soothe my ageless fears,

Together we reminisce over passing time,

Remembering those things we still consider to be divine.

As our children continue to grow and learn,

We know the things that will cause them concern,

Little steps they continue to take,

Will provide them with a future their own hands will make.

As I look into your aging eyes,

I see the beauty that exists in those bountiful sighs,

We have passed those once crazy nights,

We simply gaze upon the moon and the stars of lights.

You are the treasure I hold in my heart,

Yours is the one jewel from which I could not part,

Of all the days I continue to have with you,

I will always remember that day, I said I do.
